It's Kind of Technical

Colorado Catholics

Lake Loveland
I’m in lovely Loveland, Colorado for a two-week training session.  To make sure that I stay on the right spiritual path while I’m away from home, I decided to find a church to attend while I’m here.  My goal was to attend daily Mass a couple of times a week, in addition to Sunday Mass.

I selected St. Joseph’s, located in Fort Collins.  So far, I’ve only been able to make it to daily Mass once — today.  I have to say that I’m very impressed.  The parish is a fairly traditional one in appearance, with a beautiful school attached.  The people were very friendly and rather pious.  And you should have seen the long lines for Confession after Mass!

I’ve decided that I’m going to drive up to the cathedral in Cheyenne, Wyoming for Sunday Mass.  Looking forward to it!  This is a beautiful area of the country.

  1. Jeff,

Daily mass is such an awe-inspiring event. I don’t get to daily mass as much as I’d like to but I always feel revitalized when I get the opportunity to attend. It is such a different experience from a Sunday mass but it carries with it just as much relevance; if not more. To those who do not attend daily mass, I highly recommend it, even if you can only make it a few times a month. The pay-off is so worth the small sacrafice of breaking away from your daily duties to spend some quality time with Jesus.

    God Bless,

    Scott
