It's Kind of Technical

About

What?

This blog reflects my faith journey.  Conversion is a lifelong process, and I am sharing mine with you.

For many, faith is something into which one is born. For others, it is comes very quickly. But for some, those who are willing to persevere, conversion comes slowly.  Hopefully you will find something here that will stimulate conversion in your life.

Who?

I am Catholic and I am an engineer. My faith and my occupation both give me great joy, and perhaps a unique (if critical) perspective on life. Truth be told, my vocation as husband and father also bring me incredible joy.  Those roles complete me as a man.  But I decided that CatholicHusbandFatherEngineer.com was much too long, so CatholicEngineer.com it is!

I am a former atheist — and a staunch one at that — who has converted to Roman Catholicism.

Why?

Because I think this is a part of what God wants me to do.

  1. My website name is long and I changed my blog to “Caring Catholic Convert.”

I converted to Catholicism one year ago — from the ridiculousness of Protestant fundamentalism. I just knew that the Catholic Church was the one true church.

When I converted, I never looked back.

    Great blog!
